1) I really hope you meant guys and not gays.
2) You'll probably get a 72 hour band. 3) If you meant gays. Along with what you said, I would give you an extended 72 hour ban. But I'm rather harsh when it comes to punishment. Last edited by Kyomi Tachibana; Jul 14, 2008 at 04:49 AM // 04:49.. |

getting banned for that in gw? unlikely. Not quite what I would consider to be a bigoted statement, and if that was the exact context, and the full extent of what was said, I'd be very suprised if arenanet took action on it. There's consistantly much worse conversation in many towns if you take the time to pay attention to all chat, and as such, a little verbalized anger in a pvp type situation where there's expected to be an amount of expressed aggression wouldn't exactly be unreasonable. However, if you do things like this regularly and get reported for it on multiple occasions, there may be a little merit to expressing a concern of being banned for abusive language.

From what I understand, it is possible to get 72 hour ban from verbal abuse. However, 'go back to your f--king country' probably wouldn't result in anything.

People almost never get perma banned for verbal abuse. Getting perma banned is usually the result of botting, buying in game gold, or exploiting a bug.

really... words dont mean shit. he could have said the most offensive, disgustingly horrible comment towards me or someone else and i wouldnt consider it worthy of any type of punishment.

I play RA almost everyday and can't count all the insults I see during the matches, best tip I can give you is ignore what they say or be careful how you reply.

I usually turn chat off in RA, so much trash talk there
You won't get banned for that either. |

i'd say you may be looking at a 72 hour ban , nothing perma cause the ofence is too small . ofc anet will sometimes choose not to take action , which i've seen and heard about in many cases with people i know , but 72 hours is most likely .
